kid tricks

Stella has new tricks everyday. She knows where her nose is, can wave hello, says "hi" to anyone and everyone (although no "bye-byes" yet...), and draws beautiful pictures on the art easel, paper, and sometimes, the floor. Her new trick yesterday was giving Mommy great big kisses with her tongue. We're going to have to work on that one! This video was from last October when Stella was learning how to make funny noises. No doubt, Daddy taught her this one!

This was the same day, as Sylvie was practicing her trick of counting numbers and saying "seven" as many times as possible. She can now count to 20 sometimes (those teen numbers are tricky!), and can do some baby math with her fingers. I can't believe how much both girls have changed just since last Fall.

Christmas in July

These videos were taken last December, but they're just as cute now! Sylvie and cousin Brock put on a great show, and Stella can join in next December.

Sylvie recently finished her summer dance session at the YMCA. She absolutely loved it, and although Stella is showing signs of interest in rock-climbing, wrestling, and possibly rugby, I think Sylvia found her favorite thing....for now.

So, I never moved any of the videos since Stella was born (and probably before that), off of my camera. Here is one from last November that makes me smile. In the eight months since then Stella has learned to walk, run, dance, climb, and a million other things, but she still has that same adorable Stella giggle.
